Disconnected

 

Disconnected is a film about a group of college kids who decide not to use computers for a month. I really liked this film a lot. The college kids have to put all of there computers away for a month. When they started to get into, they realized that they had a lot of time on their hands. All of them realized that there laptops was a social part of them. They used their laptops to talk with people. They used email to get in touch with their professors.

 

One student had to use the computer because his Chinese homework was on the computer. He had to use the computer to record his voice. He ended up using the computer but only for that. By the end of the film when the students got their computer back they went on it. They went through a lot of emails on their computer.

 

I think this would be pretty hard because everyone uses laptops. I don't think I could go a month without my laptop. I am in college and I know that we use computers a lot. We use them to type papers to email professors and to keep in touch with family. This would be a very hard thing to do. A lot of people use their computers for music and games also. It would not be fun to go without a laptop.
